First of all, we want to add our congratulations to Anya Shrubsole who was part of the England World Cup squad who recently won the Women's World Cup down in Australia. This is a fantastic personal achievement but also a great success for the Bath and District Youth Cricket League who have done so much to encourage cricket in the area and develop the sporting heroes of the future.

It is again hugely satisfying to see the continued growth and maturity of the league, both in terms of the number of teams and participants.

More than a 1,000 children and young people are now playing in the league on a regular basis, including more and more girls. Anya is not the only playing achieving representative honours, with many other players in the league playing for the county at various age groups.

Target is a firm rooted firmly in Bath and the South West and we are fortunate to work with many different local business owners and individuals. It is a privilege to again make our own contribution to the community by supporting the league and we wish every player good luck for the forthcoming season.
